• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570 - $1650

• Patient Ratios: 1:6–7
• Daily Census: 36
• EMR: Epic (experience with Epic EMR preferred)
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Parking: Free on-site parking
• Weekend / Holiday: Every other weekend; holiday rotation required
• Float: May float to other Med/Surg units as needed

Job Requirements – Travel Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience; renal care experience preferred (renal failure, dialysis knowledge a plus)
• License: Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Certifications: BLS (AHA)
• First-time travel nurses: Welcome to apply
• Local requirement: Must reside outside a 60-mile radius (locals not accepted)
• Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Clinical Skills: IV therapy, peripheral line care, feeding tube management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE, rapid response/code participation, CVA management

Responsibilities – Med/Surg RN / Renal Nursing Duties

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients, including those with renal diagnoses
• Perform focused assessments, develop/update care plans, and monitor patient condition changes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; document accurately and timely in Epic EMR
• Start and maintain IVs, manage feeding tubes, and provide renal-focused interventions within the Med/Surg scope
• Respond to rapid response/code situations and participate in codes as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: IV team, PT, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, phlebotomy, transportation, unit secretaries
• Float to other Med/Surg units to meet facility needs and support clinical operations
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
