- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 25, 2026 – July 31, 2026)
- Shift: 12 Hour Days (07:00 – 19:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel — Travel Nurse, Contract RN role
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Wyoming RN license OR active multi-state (compact) RN license — license must be attached with resume
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (attach with submission)
- Strong clinical assessment skills and proven ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Comfortable with medication administration (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and use of specialty monitoring equipment
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide direct, individualized nursing care to medical and surgical patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team
- Prepare and administer medications and document medication administration accurately
- Monitor and interpret electronic displays, adjust specialized equipment, and initiate corrective actions for adverse symptoms
- Perform skilled nursing procedures: change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs, and assist physicians with exams and treatments
- Respond to life-saving situations according to established nursing standards, ACLS/PALS protocols, and hospital policy
- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, discharge planning, and post-treatment home care
- Document all care clearly, concisely, and in compliance with clinical documentation standards
