Med/Surg RN Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience — medical surgical nurse, clinical support experience preferred
- Medical/Surgical RN certification preferred
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement)
- Successful completion of required background checks and competency exams
- Driver's License or state ID
- Completion of skills checklist and submission packet
Travel Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit — deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and accurately document care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care to support positive outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Participate in unit meetings, training, and ongoing professional development to grow as a clinical professional
