Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Texas City, TX 77591
Travel Med/Surg RN needed in Texas City, TX. Join a supportive inpatient team in a 13-week travel nursing assignment with 12-hour night shifts, alternating weekends, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a busy Med/Surg and rehab setting.

Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience or acute care RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong general nursing skills and patient assessment abilities
- Rehab experience preferred
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Excellent teamwork, professionalism, communication, and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to Med/Surg patients in a fast-paced inpatient environment
- Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and communicate concerns promptly
- Administer medications and support individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care technicians (PCTs), and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Assist with patient mobility and use of lifting equipment as needed
- Document nursing care accurately in the EMR
- Float to Med/Surg areas as assigned
- Contribute to a positive, solutions-focused team culture
