Med/Surg Registered Nurse (Travel RN) – Willoughby, OH. 13-week night shift travel assignment; Med/Surg/Telemetry experience required.

Job Details
- Location: Willoughby, OH 44094 (Willoughby, Ohio travel nursing)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 30, 2026)
- Setting: Medical/Surgical Unit – 45 beds, 28 telemetry beds (Med/Surg/Telemetry nurse)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and every other holiday required (night shift RN)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890 (competitive travel RN pay)

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience; telemetry experience preferred
- BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4–1:6 (medical-surgical staffing)
- Completion of required onboarding health screenings and background checks
- Up-to-date immunizations: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD
- Driver's License or State ID
- Skills checklist and competency exams as required
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care on a busy Med/Surg unit
- Monitor and assess patients, including telemetry monitoring and interpretation (telemetry nurse responsibilities)
- Administer medications and treatments safely and as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize virtual nurse assistance when available
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff and follow hospital policies
