- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; weekends only
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift Duration: 12-hour days
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Float: May float to similar patient care units, including comparable medical/surgical, telemetry, and ED populations
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months of combined nursing experience in the specialty
- Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
- Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
- Willingness to work at least every other holiday
- Travel nurse experience is welcome, and local candidates are accepted
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult medical/surgical telemetry patients
- Monitor telemetry rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
- Administer medications and perform nursing interventions in accordance with best practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient-centered outcomes
- Document assessments, care plans, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
- Adapt to float assignments within similar patient populations as needed
- Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a high-acuity hospital environment
