- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,770 - $1,860
- Start Date: 10/06/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
- Charting System: Epic
- Float Expectations: May include med/surg, telemetry, ER-boarded patients, and other inpatient areas based on unit need
Job Requirements
- Active RN license with compact license in hand at submission
- Minimum of 2 years of registered nurse experience required
- Charge nurse experience required
- US clinical experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in a variable-acuity setting
- Comfortable floating and adapting quickly to changing inpatient unit needs
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate patient care as a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse across multiple inpatient units
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Use strong clinical judgment while managing patient ratios that may range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on acuity
- Support charge nurse duties on smaller units, including staffing coordination, bed flow, and unit organization
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, phlebotomy, and rapid response
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient updates in Epic
- Follow infection control protocols, isolation precautions, and unit-specific care standards
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on quality patient care, flexibility, and clinical excellence
