Job Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or Multi-State Compact RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of a licensed physician
- Use the nursing process to individualize care plans for patients and families
- Collaborate with peers and members of the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
- Direct nursing support staff in accordance with nursing standards and departmental policies
- Provide safe, compassionate care in a medical-surgical telemetry setting
- Maintain professionalism while adapting to the needs of a busy acute care unit
