Job Requirements
- 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience preferred
- Travel nursing experience required
- Active RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced adult and geriatric acute care setting
- Willingness to float to units of equal acuity as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bedside care for adult and geriatric Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and support patient treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and other support services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
- Safely manage a 1:6 patient ratio while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Float to comparable units when needed and adapt to changing patient needs
