Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Travel Nurse (Cleveland, OH) | 13-week travel contract at a leading hospital in Cleveland, OH. Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with Med/Surg/Telemetry and Hematology/Oncology skills to join a top-rated hospital in downtown Cleveland.

Job Details

• Location: a leading hospital in Cleveland, OH 44195 (Cleveland travel nursing)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,250 - $2,370 per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 17, 2026 – July 17, 2026)
• Unit: G70 Hematology/Oncology – Med/Surg Telemetry
• Shift: Rotating Day (7:00am – 7:30pm) and Night (7:00pm – 7:30am); 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse / Travel RN
• On-Site Position

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience; 18 months permanent experience in specialty prior to travel assignments
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or Compact RN license accepted
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on the Hematology/Oncology Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry/ECG rhythms and cardiac changes
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, chemotherapy-related therapies when applicable, treatments, and procedures as prescribed
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, education, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Participate in rotating shifts and work at least every other holiday as required
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and regulatory standards
