Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Setting: Special Care Transplant Unit (G101) with potential float to J1-2, J33, and ED
- Shift: Rotating Day/Night 12-hour shifts (7:00am–7:30pm / 7:00pm–7:30am); 3 shifts per week
- Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing
Required Qualifications (Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse)
- Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) experience
- 18 months permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty
- Ability to work at least every other holiday
- COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and assess patients with complex medical and surgical needs using telemetry
- Perform accurate documentation of patient care and telemetry findings
- Float to designated units (J1-2, J33, ED) as needed to support unit staffing
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, social work) to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in orientation, ongoing training modules, and competency assessments
- Maintain compliance with Cleveland Clinic policies, patient safety standards, and clinical best practices
