Travel Nursing Job Details

Travel RN Job Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience
- Recent experience in a Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing setting
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Ability to work three 12-hour overnight shifts each week
- Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards and provider orders
- Complete thorough patient assessments, care plans, clinical documentation, and patient education
- Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
- Float between medical-surgical and telemetry assignments as needed
- Promote patient safety, comfort, dignity, and continuity of care throughout the travel nursing assignment
