• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 (competitive travel nursing pay)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required — proven medical-surgical nurse and telemetry experience
• Active and permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (must be active, no pending)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in Med/Surg Telemetry required
• Ability to work at least every other holiday during the assignment
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit — clinical assessments, interventions, and patient education
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry alarms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and in accordance with physician orders and hospital policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy, physical therapy) to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and quality standards
• Participate in orientation, required competency assessments, and ongoing education modules (ECG recognition, telemetry best practices)
