Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) in a hospital laboratory
• ASCP certification or equivalent preferred (ASCP-certified Medical Technologist)
• Hands-on experience with blood bank and microbiology procedures
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS), quality control, and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital lab team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing in blood bank and microbiology departments
• Analyze specimens, verify results, and report accurate findings in a timely manner
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; perform quality control and calibration tasks
• Follow and enforce laboratory safety, compliance, and documentation standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment
• Document procedures, test results, and quality assurance activities per hospital policy
