- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180

- Patient Ratio: 2:1 on days, nights, and weekends
- Charting System: Epic
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- Floating: May float to ICU, Intermediate, and Telemetry units
- Orientation: 36 hours
Registered Nurse Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 2+ years of MICU or Medical ICU experience required
- BSN preferred
- BLS and ACLS required
- Experience with Level I trauma care required
- Proficiency with Epic charting preferred
- Strong critical care nursing skills with complex adult and geriatric patients
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- First-time travelers are welcome
Responsibilities
- Provide expert critical care nursing in a high-acuity MICU environment
- Monitor and manage patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, multiorgan dysfunction, ARDS, renal failure, liver failure, GI bleeds, oncology diagnoses, and post-cardiac arrest conditions
- Perform ICU interventions such as arterial line management, central line care, ventilator support, CVVHD/CRRT management, sedation titration, and vasoactive drip titration
- Assist with bedside procedures including trach and PEG care, CVC placement, bronchoscopy support, and massive transfusion protocols
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, phlebotomy, social services, and rapid response teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and support safe, evidence-based patient care
- Adapt to floating assignments within ICU, intermediate care, and telemetry as needed
- Deliver compassionate, high-acuity care while contributing to a supportive and team-oriented unit culture
