Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Level III NICU experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
- Seven years of recent Level III NICU experience within the last 10 years preferred
- ACLS certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality neonatal nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the plan of care
- Collaborate with the neonatal care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and timely
- Support families with compassionate, developmentally appropriate communication and education
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient care environment for neonatal patients
