Job Description
Gynecologic Oncology APP (PA/NP, 1st Assist) | Kaiser Permanente – San Diego, CA
GHR Healthcare is seeking an experienced Gynecologic Oncology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is 1st Assist certified to support a busy Clinic + OR service. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), Monday–Friday opportunity with no call and a 6-month assignment (with option to extend).
Position Details
- Specialty: Gynecology/Oncology – PA or NP (1st Assist certified required)
- Location: San Diego, CA
- Assignment Length: ASAP (pending credentialing) through 6 months, option to extend as needed
- Setting: Clinic & OR
Schedule
- Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- OR Days: Start time falls within 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (you will work an 8-hour shift within those hours)
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
- Call: No call
Responsibilities
- Support the clinic with pre-op and post-op appointments
- OR 1st assist with Gynecologic Oncology
- Surgical modalities include:
- Open surgery
- Laparoscopy

- OR: 3–4 cases/day
- Clinic volume: ongoing clinic patients (varies by day)

- Rate Structure: Hourly, all-inclusive, W2
Requirements
- Board Certified
- BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association accepted)
- 1st Assist certification required
