Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist; nuclear specialty experience preferred
  • Relevant certification(s) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (e.g., ARRT(N) or NMTCB preferred)
  • State licensure if required by Pennsylvania and ability to work on-site Monday–Friday
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, adherence to radiation safety protocols, and commitment to patient safety

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine and PET procedures following safety and regulatory guidelines
  • Operate nuclear imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images and assist with image processing
  • Perform routine quality control (QC) checks and maintain imaging equipment according to protocols
  • Ensure accurate documentation in patient records and maintain regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and the healthcare team to support diagnostic accuracy and patient care
  • Provide patient preparation, education, and safe monitoring during procedures
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow radiation safety and infection control standards
