Travel Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 – $2,430
- Location: Newton Lower Falls, MA 02462 — Boston-area imaging job
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 31, 2026 – August 29, 2026)
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or PET/CT technologist
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) — Nuclear (ARRT[N])
- Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- ARRT (CT) registration preferred (CT certification preferred for PET/CT technologists)
- CPR / BLS certified
- Trained and experienced in venipuncture and radiopharmaceutical administration
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records, Siemens PET/CT, GE General Nuclear Medicine software, and Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT for Nuclear Cardiology
- Successful completion of onboarding requirements, including orientation, health screenings, and background checks
Key Responsibilities — Nuclear Medicine / PET/CT Technologist
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and radionuclides under physician direction
- Operate and troubleshoot PET/CT and nuclear imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Perform venipuncture, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and monitor patients during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EPIC and related imaging systems
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and hospital radiation safety policies and regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, chief technologists, and senior technologists to deliver exceptional patient care
- Participate in department meetings, training, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives
