- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 9, 2026 – June 8, 2026)
- Setting: Acute Care / Hospital
- Employment Type: W2, Travel
- Shift: 8 Hour Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,490 – $2,670
- Charting System: Epic (Epic EMR / Epic experience preferred)
Key Qualifications (Requirements)
- Current ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT NMT)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Acute care/hospital experience a plus; all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of years of experience
- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, radiopharmaceutical handling, and federal/state regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Willingness to complete state-specific credentialing or licensure required for travel assignments
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures (planar, SPECT, MUGA, bone scans, cardiac studies) following hospital protocols and regulatory standards
- Prepare, dispense, and administer radiopharmaceuticals with strict adherence to radiation safety and quality control
- Verify physician orders, obtain accurate patient histories, and provide clear patient education and preparation instructions
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, perform routine QC, and escalate equipment issues as needed
- Accurately document procedures, administered doses, and patient information in Epic (or facility EMR)
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to deliver timely, patient-centered care
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow infection prevention, radiation safety, and HIPAA privacy policies
