- Shifts Per Week: 5
- Shift Duration: 8 hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,970 - $2,110
- Orientation: 24 hours onsite
- Work Setting: Nuclear Medicine department with 3 rooms and an average of 10 visits per day
- Coverage: On call every third week
Job Requirements
- 0-1 year of nuclear medicine experience preferred; first-time travelers are welcome
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- PET experience preferred
- Experience with Siemens equipment strongly preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Comfort working with adult, geriatric, and adolescent patient populations
- Ability to comply with travel assignment requirements and onsite orientation
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Prepare, administer, and manage radiopharmaceuticals while following safety and handling protocols
- Conduct studies such as bone, brain, abdominal, renal, HIDA, ventilation/perfusion, whole body, and other routine nuclear medicine exams
- Assist with IV starts, patient preparation, and procedure readiness to support efficient workflow
- Work with Siemens equipment to deliver high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostic support
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
- Collaborate with radiology and transportation teams to support patient throughput and care coordination
- Provide professional, compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
