  • Work Setting: Nuclear Medicine department with 3 rooms and an average of 10 visits per day
  • Coverage: On call every third week

Job Requirements

  • 0-1 year of nuclear medicine experience preferred; first-time travelers are welcome
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required in hand
  • Current BLS certification required
  • PET experience preferred
  • Experience with Siemens equipment strongly preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Comfort working with adult, geriatric, and adolescent patient populations
  • Ability to comply with travel assignment requirements and onsite orientation

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Prepare, administer, and manage radiopharmaceuticals while following safety and handling protocols
  • Conduct studies such as bone, brain, abdominal, renal, HIDA, ventilation/perfusion, whole body, and other routine nuclear medicine exams
  • Assist with IV starts, patient preparation, and procedure readiness to support efficient workflow
  • Work with Siemens equipment to deliver high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostic support
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
  • Collaborate with radiology and transportation teams to support patient throughput and care coordination
  • Provide professional, compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
