Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license required
• Compact RN license must be in hand at submission
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required
• Occupational health, employee health, or related clinical experience preferred
• Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, including OSHA, CDC, The Joint Commission, and local health department standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, even under pressure
• Friendly, service-oriented communication style
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Willingness to learn a new in-house electronic health record (EHR) system

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational health nursing support and caregiver health services
• Support safe return-to-work practices and workplace wellness initiatives
• Perform pre-employment health screenings and coordinate with internal partners regarding accommodations or unique health screening needs
• Manage surveillance services related to tuberculosis, hazardous drugs, lead, hearing conservation, and other occupational exposures
• Administer vaccinations in alignment with policy and clinical guidelines
• Support caregivers with exposure management for blood/body fluid incidents and infectious disease concerns
• Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential employee health records
• Participate in huddles, committees, and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve safety, health, and well-being
• Review occupational incident data and help identify trends and prevention strategies
• Contribute to standard operating procedures, clinical workflows, and special projects
• Manage supplies and maintain equipment readiness for daily operations
• Provide on-site support as needed and help promote a culture of health, safety, and service excellence
