Oncology Coder I - Outpatient Oncology Coding (Remote)

Remote outpatient oncology coding opportunity for a certified outpatient coder with 3+ years of experience, CPC/CCS-P credentials, and Epic/3M skills. This role supports outpatient oncology coding operations, including injection and infusion services, in a high-acuity, detail-driven environment where accuracy, compliance, and efficient revenue cycle performance are essential. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of oncology coding experience required
  • Certified outpatient coder, such as Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-based (CCS-P)
  • Strong experience with outpatient oncology medical coding
  • Demonstrated expertise in injection and infusion coding
  • Proficiency with Epic and 3M coding systems
  • Strong knowledge of coding compliance, accuracy standards, and regulatory guidelines
  • Ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced remote coding environment

Responsibilities

  • Code outpatient oncology services with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Review and code injection and infusion therapies in accordance with current coding guidelines
  • Support billing and revenue cycle processes for high-complexity oncology cases
  • Ensure coding practices align with regulatory, compliance, and audit standards
  • Collaborate remotely with revenue cycle and clinical teams to support clean claim submission
  • Maintain productivity expectations while preserving coding quality
