Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Oncology nursing experience and chemotherapy administration experience required
- Bone marrow transplant experience strongly preferred
- BLS required
- ONS certification recommended
- Previous travel nursing experience not required
- Strong clinical judgment, patient assessment, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient setting
- Administer chemotherapy safely and accurately according to clinical protocols
- Monitor patients, assess conditions, and respond to changing clinical needs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support efficient patient flow and positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards of care
- Support patients and families with compassionate, education-focused care
- Adapt to unit needs, including occasional weekend coverage as required
