- Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days
- Schedule: 3x12s, 36 hours per week
- Weekend/Holiday Expectations: Every 3rd weekend as needed; every other holiday
- Call: One call shift per time period
- Openings: 2
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,560 - $1,670
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of inpatient surgery experience required
- Level I trauma experience required
- Must have trauma experience in a busy operating room setting
- National certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA required)
- BLS certification required
- Must be competent in at least 5 surgical service areas, such as general, gyn, GU, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, or spine
- Strong communication skills and a positive, flexible approach to teamwork
- Ability to adapt to a high-volume OR environment and support multiple service lines
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team by preparing instruments, supplies, and the operating room for procedures
- Provide expert surgical technologist support across a broad range of surgical specialties
- Maintain a sterile field and uphold safety standards throughout each case
- Support trauma and high-acuity surgical cases with confidence and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, registered nurses, and perioperative team members
- Adapt to rotating service needs and float to other OR areas as needed
- Contribute to smooth case flow in a 24/7 surgical services environment
