We are seeking an experienced OR Surgical Technologist for an 8-week travel contract in Trenton, New Jersey.   • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,878 - $2,087
  • Location: Trenton, New Jersey
  • Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services
  • Start Date: 9/21/2026
  • Contract Length: 8 weeks
  • Schedule: 4 shifts per week
  • Shift Duration: 10 Hour Days
  • Shift Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Hours Per Week: 40
  • Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
  • On-Call Requirement: Required, including 24-hour call or 12-hour working shifts for holiday coverage

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an OR Surgical Technologist or Surgical Tech
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Current CST certification required
  • Demonstrated experience with Robotics, Spine, and Total Joint procedures
  • Previous travel surgical technologist experience preferred
  • Flu vaccination required
  • Ability to arrive prepared for morning report beginning promptly at 7:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and sterile field for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons, nurses, and the perioperative team during a variety of operative cases
  • Provide skilled intraoperative support for Robotics, Spine, and Total Joint procedures
  • Maintain sterile technique and support patient safety throughout all phases of surgery
  • Anticipate surgical team needs and ensure equipment and instrumentation are available and functioning properly
  • Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled
  • Report on-site and ready to participate in morning report prior to the start of each shift
