Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Travel Assignment – Operating Room Tech in Portland, Oregon

Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of OR Tech or Surgical Tech experience required
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA required
- BLS required
- ASATT certification required or strongly preferred, based on assignment needs
- Prior travel surgical technologist experience required
- Military-trained surgical technologists welcome
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and case preparation
- Experience with a wide range of adult surgical specialties preferred
- Comfortable supporting call, weekends, and occasional float expectations as needed
- Robotic surgery experience with Intuitive Surgical Systems XI & SI is highly valued
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and perioperative teams during a broad range of adult specialty cases
- Handle instruments, supplies, case carts, and surgical equipment efficiently and accurately
- Support procedures across specialties such as orthopedics, neuro, vascular, ENT, plastics, urology, general surgery, and more
- Provide strong anticipation of surgical needs to keep cases moving smoothly
- Participate in on-call coverage and weekend shifts as scheduled
- Collaborate with the OR team to promote safe, timely, and high-quality patient care
- Follow facility workflows, charting expectations, and surgical services standards
