Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Travel Contract in Philadelphia, PA
Experienced OR Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Join a fast-paced surgical team in Northeast Philadelphia and use your scrub and circulate skills across trauma, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, podiatry, general, and robotic urology cases. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2360-$2480
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19114

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Weekend days, Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- Shift Duration: 12-hour days
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing
- Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact license required at time of submission
- Current BLS certification required
- NIHSS required
- Trauma certification required; TNCC accepted
- Recent experience in both scrub and circulate roles required
- Level II Trauma experience required
- Strong experience in vascular, orthopedic, podiatry, neuro, trauma, general, and urology cases required
- Robotics proficiency, especially in urology, required
- Community hospital experience required
- Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room for a wide range of surgical procedures
- Perform both scrub and circulate duties based on departmental needs
- Support surgical teams during trauma, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, podiatry, general, and robotic urology procedures
- Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment
- Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies before, during, and after procedures
- Document patient care accurately in Epic
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent patient outcomes
- Follow established perioperative, trauma, and patient safety protocols throughout each case
