- Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, with a rotating day off
- Call: Minimal call required, approximately 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
- Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services
- Charting System: Epic EMR
- Orientation: Onsite orientation included
Job Requirements
- Active RN license in hand at time of submittal
- At least 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience preferred
- Travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology required
- Experience with Trauma Level I environments preferred
- Comfort working with the Epic charting system
- Ability to work scheduled weekend coverage as assigned
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate perioperative nursing care
- Support a variety of surgical cases across multiple specialties in the operating room
- Prepare the OR, assist with procedures, and maintain strict sterile technique
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and respond to changing needs
- Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
- Contribute to a smooth, team-oriented surgical workflow
- Adapt to a busy daily census and maintain strong clinical judgment in a high-volume environment
