Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Bridgeport, West Virginia
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200–$2,320
- Assignment Dates: October 26, 2026 – January 25, 2027
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights; weekends as scheduled
- Call: One weeknight call from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. approximately every four weeks, plus one weekend call shift during the assignment
- Healthcare Setting: Acute-care, Level II trauma operating room
- Charting System: EPIC

Operating Room RN Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in West Virginia
- At least 1 year of professional operating room nursing or perioperative nursing experience
- Recent experience supporting multiple operating room specialties and procedural areas
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred due to the use of modern sedation practices
- Ability to participate in scheduled weekday and weekend call
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical environment
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical experience
- Support a wide variety of procedures, including vascular procedures excluding open-heart surgery, general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, and ENT
- Work across 11 procedural rooms, including operating room and endoscopy suites
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and other members of the perioperative care team
- Cross-train to support endoscopy cases as needed
- Utilize Baxter pumps and support cases involving Phillips and Dynomap equipment
- Assist with the growing robotic surgery program; Da Vinci robotic experience is a strong plus
- Respond to scheduled call assignments and support urgent surgical needs
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC while following patient-safety, infection-control, and perioperative standards
