Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,320 - $2,440
• Location: Dover Foxcroft, ME 04426 — Maine travel nursing job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (5/18/2026 – 8/15/2026)
• Shift: 7:00am – 4:30pm (8-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Setting: Operating Room (3 OR suites) with 1 GI Endoscopy room — perioperative/surgical nurse role

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience (perioperative OR RN or surgical nurse)
• Active RN license (compact or state-specific as required)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• PreOp and PACU experience required
• Comfortable independently circulating a wide variety of cases
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred (electronic medical record experience helpful)
• Comfortable monitoring patients on cardiac monitors during procedures

Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist in surgical cases including general, orthopedic, gynecological, obstetric, endoscopic, urology, podiatry, and pain clinic procedures
• Provide PreOp and PACU care for patients of all ages — perioperative nursing across the continuum
• Monitor patients on cardiac monitors during procedures and respond to changes in patient status
• Collaborate closely with anesthesia, charge RN, respiratory therapy, and surgical tech staff
• Participate in weekend and holiday call rotations as needed
