• Setting: Main Hospital – 2nd Floor Surgical Services
• Unit: Surgery (11 beds, 1:1 patient ratio)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR RN)
• Start Date: March 22, 2026
• End Date: May 17, 2026
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shifts: 8-hour days (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) or 10-hour days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Call Requirements: 1st call (end of shift to 11:00 PM), 2nd call (end of shift to 6:30 AM), weekend call (24 hours or 12-hour segments)
• Facility Scrubs Provided
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 per week

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience (perioperative/surgical RN)
• Experience with high-acuity surgical cases
• Familiarity with Da Vinci robotic surgical systems preferred (Da Vinci Xi, SP, DV5)
• Proficiency with Meditec documentation system is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing surgical department

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative patient care in the Operating Room, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio for high-acuity surgical cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams including CSTs, FAs, EVS, schedulers, anesthesia, and surgical residents
• Assist with a broad range of procedures: General Surgery, Vascular, Surgical Oncology, Colorectal, GYN Oncology, Urology, Orthopedics, Ortho/Neuro Spine
• Utilize advanced robotic surgery platforms (Da Vinci Xi, SP, DV5) and support robotic-assisted cases
• Support a teaching environment by assisting surgical and anesthesia residents
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Meditec and adhere to perioperative documentation standards
• Participate in scheduled call rotation and demonstrate teamwork and flexibility to assist colleagues as needed
