- Duration: 13-week contract
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 10 hours
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Weekend/On-Call Requirement: One weekend of call per month, totaling 36 hours: 24 hours on Saturday and 12 hours on Sunday
- Scrubs: Provided on site
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room Registered Nurse experience
- Ability to both scrub and circulate independently in the operating room
- Expert-level experience with orthopedic spine, robotics, and trauma surgical cases
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of New Jersey
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
- American Heart Association ACLS certification required
- National certification in a surgical or perioperative specialty preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical setting
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process
- Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures as an OR RN
- Support orthopedic spine, robotic, and trauma surgeries with precision and efficiency
- Maintain a safe, sterile, and organized operating room environment
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to support quality patient outcomes
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately during procedures
- Complete required orientation and onboarding activities as scheduled
- Follow facility protocols, documentation standards, and patient safety practices
