- Weekend Requirement: 2-3 weekends per month

Job Requirements
- 1+ year of RNFA or STFA experience required
- 5 years of operating room or first assist experience strongly preferred
- Valid Michigan RN license required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- CVOR experience required
- Ability to proficiently harvest vein endoscopically required
- ACLS and BLS required
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Flu vaccination required, with medical exemptions only
Responsibilities
- First assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including cardiac surgery, vascular, ortho, gyn, thoracic, and general surgery cases as needed
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting with proficiency
- Support the surgical team in CVOR and general operating room coverage
- Assist with a broad range of procedures in a high-acuity perioperative environment
- Float to general department first-assist coverage when cardiac cases are not applicable
- Maintain strong communication, efficiency, and patient-focused care throughout the surgical workflow
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment with call and weekend coverage expectations
