Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) – Meadowbrook, PA | 13-Week Travel Contract

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,130 – $1,210

- Hours per Week: 40
- Shifts per Week: 5
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days (8:00am – 4:30pm)
- On Call: Required, 2 weekends per month

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR Tech / Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting
- Strong perioperative skills including sterile technique and surgical instrument handling
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation (2 weekends per month)
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to follow hospital OR protocols and documentation standards
Preferred Certifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or completion of an accredited surgical technology program preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA preferred
- Additional perioperative certifications or prior travel OR Tech experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team in the operating room to ensure a sterile, safe environment during procedures
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments, including setup, counts, and sterile processing support
- Support surgeons and perioperative nurses during operations (pass instruments, anticipate needs)
- Maintain accurate documentation, surgical counts, and adhere to hospital and sterile processing protocols
- Participate in on-call coverage and respond as scheduled for urgent or emergency cases
