Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- At least 1 year of current hospital acute care orthopedic nursing experience required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Orthopedic and spine nursing experience preferred
- Med-Surg experience preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical assessment skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic and spine patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Monitor patients and support individualized care plans in a fast-paced inpatient environment
- Perform central line care, blood transfusions, and foley/straight catheter procedures as needed
- Collaborate with charge nurses, RNs, patient care techs, and other healthcare professionals to support safe patient flow
- Use clinical judgment to prioritize patient needs during overnight shifts
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented unit culture in one of the top Denver healthcare jobs
