Job Details

• Position: Locum Tenens Otolaryngology Physician / ENT Physician
• Location: Danville, PA 17822 — a welcoming Central Pennsylvania community setting
• Setting: General otolaryngology clinic and call coverage
• Schedule: Clinic hours 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, administrative time 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM, and call coverage 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM with flexibility
• Duration: Approximately 13 weeks, with ongoing locum tenens need
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,910 - $7,000
• Start Date: ASAP
• Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day

Job Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in ENT or otolaryngology practice
• Fellowship training preferred
• Active physician license with ability to obtain required credentials in a timely manner
• BLS certification required
• Experience with general ENT, surgical and non-surgical care, and endoscopic procedures
• Comfort managing clinic patients and call coverage in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive otolaryngology and ENT care in the outpatient clinic
• Evaluate and manage approximately 20 patients per day
• Deliver surgical and non-surgical ENT support for a variety of head and neck conditions
• Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures, including septal, sinus, bronchoscopy, flexible, rigid, and laryngoscopy services
• Provide tracheotomy care as needed
• Participate in flexible call coverage and collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless patient care
• Support a wide range of general head and neck cases in a collaborative clinical environment
