Travel Physical Therapist Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia
- At least 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Internationally educated therapists must meet applicable CGFNS credentialing requirements
- Ability to complete required onboarding and facility credentialing before the assignment begins
Outpatient Physical Therapist Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized outpatient physical therapy treatment plans based on functional needs and goals
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, home programs, and injury prevention
- Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge planning accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient outcomes
