Outpatient Registered Nurse Job Details

- Schedule: Per diem coverage with core hours between 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
- Typical Shift: Most shifts are 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
- Coverage Area: Must be able to commute to practices in Philadelphia and/or Chester County
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required, preferably in an outpatient, ambulatory care, or physician office setting
- Strong clinical assessment, patient care, and care coordination skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different practice environments, patient volumes, and workflows
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute throughout the coverage area
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care
Outpatient Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in outpatient clinic and ambulatory practice settings
- Support clinical operations on an as-needed basis at assigned outpatient practices throughout Philadelphia and Chester County
- Perform patient assessments, documentation, and care coordination
- Assist with procedures, treatments, triage support, and patient flow as needed
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and follow-up instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and office staff to ensure efficient care delivery
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold clinical and regulatory standards
- Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, timely, and professional care
