Experienced Registered Nurse needed for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) opportunity in Middle Township, NJ. This 12-week New Jersey nursing job offers night shift hours, EPIC charting, and the chance to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
  • Recent PCU nursing or step-down experience preferred
  • Current RN license in New Jersey or compact eligibility, if applicable
  • EPIC experience required
  • Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative acute care environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring progressive care and step-down level monitoring
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor patient condition closely and report changes promptly to the care team
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support quality outcomes and safe transitions of care
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing care needs
  • Maintain compliance with unit standards, safety practices, and professional nursing guidelines
