- Employment Type: Travel Nursing

- Setting: Progressive Care / Resource RN supporting Med Surg and PCU
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 19:00 - 07:00
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820 - $1,910
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Floating: Required, primarily between Med Surg and PCU
- Weekend Coverage: As needed; may include most weekends during the contract
- Start Date: 10/19/2026
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience required
- Recent experience in Progressive Care, Med Surg, telemetry, or acute care preferred
- Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Active RN license in hand before the start date
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
- Nursys verification required with submission
- Epic charting experience strongly preferred
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Willingness to float as needed and work a flexible night shift schedule
- Must be able to complete required onboarding labs within the required timeframe
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU and Med Surg overflow patients
- Monitor and assess patients with complex medical, cardiac, and telemetry needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the plan of care
- Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Support patients requiring respiratory assistance, IV therapy, and cardiac monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, coordinated care
- Float between Med Surg and PCU assignments based on unit needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Respond to changes in patient status with strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork
