- Schedule: 36/48-hour alternating schedule; may consider straight 48s

- Patient Ratios: 5 on days, 6 on nights
- Float Requirement: Med Surg and Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Registered Nurse Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand before start
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Nursys verification required with submission
- Epic experience strongly preferred
- Must be willing to float as needed, primarily supporting Med Surg and PCU
- Weekend availability required as needed during the contract
- Must be able to complete required compliance items promptly after offer
Progressive Care Unit RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in a PCU and Med Surg environment
- Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition with strong clinical judgment
- Manage common Progressive Care Unit interventions, including cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, insulin protocols, and oxygen therapy
- Support patients with a variety of diagnoses, including Med Surg overflow and complex medical needs
- Perform assessments, prioritize care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
- Assist with procedures and treatments such as wound care, line management, respiratory support, and post-procedure monitoring
- Work closely with interdisciplinary partners including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Adapt to changing patient assignments and maintain a flexible, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced hospital setting
