Job Requirements
- 3 years of recent PCU RN experience in a busy Level I Trauma setting
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Recent cardiac drip experience required
- Ability and willingness to float to like units as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
- Monitor, assess, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Manage patients requiring cardiac drips and progressive-level monitoring
- Document patient care accurately using Epic
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Float to like units based on patient care needs and staffing priorities
- Deliver compassionate, efficient care during night and weekend shifts
