Job Requirements

  • Board certified physician required
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
  • Experience in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine strongly preferred
  • Current PALS certification required
  • Ability to provide high-acuity neonatal and pediatric care
  • Experience with advanced neonatal procedures preferred
  • Comfort working in a NICU and supporting high-risk deliveries

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality care for newborns and pediatric patients in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) setting
  • Attend C-sections and high-risk C-sections as needed
  • Manage ventilation for newborns and pediatric patients, including invasive and non-invasive respiratory support
  • Perform or assist with procedures such as intubation, central lines, arterial lines, UVC/UAC placement, lumbar puncture, chest tube insertion, and diagnostic/therapeutic taps
  • Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues in neonatal patients
  • Interpret X-rays and EKGs as part of comprehensive neonatal and pediatric patient care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to support positive outcomes for infants and families
