- Setting: Pediatric/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (PICU/CVPICU)
- Location: Columbus, OH 43205
- Type: Travel Registered Nurse / Pediatric Critical Care RN
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Weekly Schedule: Approximately 3 shifts per week / 36 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
- Orientation: 36 hours

Job Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license in hand
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- At least 1 year of PICU or CVPICU experience required; 2 years preferred
- Experience in a 30-bed or larger Pediatric Intensive Care Unit preferred
- Strong knowledge of ventilator management, arterial line care, hemodynamic monitoring, and central line management
- Ability to float to related pediatric critical care and stepdown units as needed
- Two supervisory references required, including at least one manager or supervisor
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric and cardiac patients with complex diagnoses
- Monitor and manage ventilated patients, chest tubes, pacemaker wires, RA lines, and other specialized equipment
- Support post-surgical patients and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Perform detailed assessments, administer medications, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Deliver safe, compassionate patient care while adapting to floating assignments across approved units
