- Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,150 - $3,310
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Location: Santa Clara, California 95051
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced pediatric critical care environment
- Experience with pediatric intensive care, acute care nursing, or critical care nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly in the patient record
- Support families with clear communication and compassionate care during critical moments
- Help maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered pediatric healthcare environment
