• Shifts: Evening shift — 5 shifts per week (8-hour shifts)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Medical Charting: Epic (Epic charting experience preferred)
• Patient Ratios: Average Day RN ratio 1:7, Night RN ratio 1:11 (with additional assistive staff)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,120 - $2,230 per week

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the U.S.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; psychiatric / behavioral health experience preferred
• Experience caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations a plus
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record preferred (Epic experience)
• Strong communication, assessment, documentation, and clinical judgment skills
• Training or experience in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic milieu

Key Responsibilities (Psychiatric RN / Behavioral Health RN)

• Provide direct psychiatric nursing care across the lifespan: pediatric, adult, and older adult patients
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document reactions accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (psychiatrists, social workers, therapists) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document all patient care clearly and timely in Epic
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and ensure patient and staff safety
• Participate in crisis intervention, behavioral de-escalation, and emergency response as needed
• Support recovery-focused, trauma-informed care and patient-centered psychiatric nursing practices
