Inpatient Physical Therapist – 13-week travel PT at Hopewell campus in Pennington, NJ (08534); Monday–Friday, no weekends.

- Location: Hopewell campus, Pennington, NJ (08534) — New Jersey PT job
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:00am – 6:30pm (No weekends)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shifts per Week: 5
- Employment Type: Travel, On-Site
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience in inpatient physical therapy
- Active New Jersey Physical Therapist (PT) license required at time of submission
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Preferred Skills
- Experience with acute care interventions, early mobility, and discharge planning
- Familiarity with hospital EMR/documentation and interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Strong clinical assessment, therapeutic exercise, and patient education skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality inpatient physical therapy services to patients recovering from acute medical conditions, post-surgical cases, and deconditioning
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Evaluate patient progress, set measurable rehabilitation goals, and adjust therapy interventions using evidence-based practices
- Document patient care, functional outcomes, and discharge recommendations in the hospital medical record in accordance with hospital standards
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding rehabilitation goals, safety, and home exercise programs
