Job Details

• Employment Type: Locum tenens (remote, per diem) — Remote radiology / tele-radiology role
• Location: Sarasota, FL 34239 (remote opportunity supporting Sarasota-area emergency department)
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evening shifts (2 PM–10 PM or 3 PM–11 PM EST, Monday–Friday)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,830 – $8,090
• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 1 year
• Technology: RPCE Tech Stack, Powerscribe 4.0; PACS/RIS experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (within 5 years)
• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (ability to obtain Florida license required for coverage of Sarasota cases)
• At least 1 year of experience in general diagnostic radiology, including emergency/ER radiology experience preferred
• Comfortable interpreting a general mix of ER cases and meeting productivity expectations
• Proficiency with radiology technology platforms (RPCE Tech Stack, Powerscribe 4.0 preferred); PACS/RIS familiarity a plus
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and HIPAA-compliant remote workstation

Responsibilities

• Interpret a broad range of general diagnostic radiology studies for emergency department cases (tele-radiology)
• Meet productivity targets of ~70 RVUs per shift while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
• Collaborate virtually with referring physicians and ER staff to ensure timely, clinically relevant reads
• Utilize advanced radiology software, document findings thoroughly, and communicate critical results per protocol
• Deliver patient-centered diagnostic support in a fast-paced, remote environment
