Travel Radiology Technologist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,950–$2,310
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
- Healthcare Setting: On-site hospital radiology department
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- End Date: January 18, 2027
- Contract Duration: 13-week travel contract
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Radiology Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or Rad Tech
- Current Radiologic Technologist certification or credential appropriate for practice
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology, medical imaging procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication, organization, and patient-care skills
- Ability to work the required 12-hour day-shift schedule
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiology examinations according to established protocols and quality standards
- Position and educate patients to promote comfort, cooperation, and accurate imaging results
- Operate radiology and diagnostic imaging equipment safely and efficiently while following radiation protection practices
- Review images for quality and completeness before submitting them for interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in accordance with departmental requirements
- Communicate pertinent patient information and examination concerns to the appropriate clinical team members
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment
